Fox V3 Helmet - Pro Pilot's third
generation
|

|
The V3 is the third generation of Fox's well known Pro Pilot
helmet. It was redesigned and now offers some cool features as well as good
looks. This helmet is Fox's top of the line helmet so lets see what it has to
offer: |
|
Protection: This is the
most important feature for a helmet and the reason
we buy one. The Fox V3
offers strong, lightweight composite Carbon fiber,
Kevlar and fiberglass outer shell construction. It
also exceeds both Snell and DOT standards which his
does not guarantee any level of safety but worth the
extra peace of mind. |

|
|
Weight: Weighing only 2.9 pounds, the Fox V3
is a light helmet. This is an important feature that
helps the rider to keep its strength especially on a
long riding session. All
throughout the helmet, you can find trick titanium
pieces to help even further bring the weight down. |
|
Comfort: The V3 is a comfortable helmet
just as other helmets in it's group. Some
complains were heard about some pressure points in
the front of the helmet, at the forehead. This was
not too bothering but we recommend you try this
helmet on before ordering one. The super wide eye
port maximizes your peripheral vision while you
ride and allow the use of very large goggles. |
|
 |
|
Ventilation: This is an
important issue as streams of sweat, pouring into
the rider's eyes at a hot summer day in a non
ventilated helmet is a very annoying thing. The V3
has a 10 port intake ports and 4 exhaust to
provide the rider good ventilation.

 |
 |
|
Finishing: Finishing is
good and gives you the feeling of a well designed
and manufactured product. We expect no less from a
helmet priced at almost 400$.
Additional things: The Fox V3 comes with a
Titanium D-rings and an extra visor.
Price: Priced 375$, The Fox V3 is located
in the top end of motocross helmets.
super light and super stylish this is one of the
solid choices for protection.
